Terri, the Bengal Tiger
Scenario
Tom and Vini are two artist mice hiding on Noah’s Ark. They must use their musical talent to enter a competition and help keep the peace among the animals. Terri the Tiger: I’m Terri.
WHERE ARE YOU?
I’m my wife’s husband. I have to sign a peace treaty after the singing competition.Terri the Tiger: [screams] BARUK! He’s gone again!Terri the Tiger: Baruk, please go with your lion.
I have a woman to catch!
Two Musical Mice – “Vini” and “Tom” They are taking a well-deserved nap one afternoon when they hear God giving his old buddy Noah a little scolding. She’s fed up with the Earth project and wants to start over, so she tells the man to build. A ship large enough to house two of every living creature sends enough rain to wash the slate clean, so animals from far and wide are invited in by airmail as he sets about building his ark.
This ship is no longer as sturdy as the one built by Russell Crowe in 2014, but after a few tricks the creatures gather and the tide goes down
The flaw in this careful planning is that the menacing lion, with the help of his minions, soon wants to clean up the court’s rotting little supplies before tackling an exceptionally fresh all-you-can-eat buffet. Are the fearless little mice – now joined by “Nina” – doing something to thwart this grand plan until the dove of peace finds land to brave the wind and rain? There’s nothing remotely religious about this story, it’s just a nice animation with some jungle creatures and some memorable musical numbers that make it a sort of “Ark’s Got Talent”.
Sure, it’s a little derivative and it certainly reminded me of “The Lion King”
It’s probably half an hour longer than it needs to be, but when it gets going, it’s not about friendship and determination, but reminds us that bullies are the most cowardly of all groups. . Occasional but harmless family entertainment to keep the kids glued to the TV at Christmas.
Seems a little quiet over here
