The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark.. When I first saw that Rivals was coming out I was a bit excited.

5 minutes into the first episode I was hooked

I was nervous too ~ because I was a fan of the books. The costumes, the makeup, the music ~ what a soundtrack.

Rupert’s 'look' But it’s not really a big deal, or has a lasting effect

Each episode is fast paced, there are no moments where you feel bored or it feels stretched, as is often the case with many of these miniseries. The characters are all very unique and very well cast, the acting and acting are superb.

The series is fun, daring, colorful and nostalgic. It doesn’t disappoint at all, and can we just take a moment to appreciate David Tennant once again being 'bad' The boy is perfect.
