Scenario

In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands a high-profile job she’s not suited for, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the fledgling U.S.

Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely bestowed on a film or movie production, especially an American one. The only place where entry was prohibited was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador.

This was so good that I binged all 8 episodes and started screaming in frustration at the TV by the end of the last episode

Although it is aptly described as being the largest residential estate (11 acres) in London, next to Buckingham Palace, producers used a country house outside the city for filming. ).

I’d happily sit there and watch 8 more episodes

One of those rare gems where every character in a star-studded cast has a well-developed personality and every plot twist, even the most complex, can be followed. It’s original, clever and really, really well done.
