Scenario

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub she finds named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown of New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend years later. 14-year-old Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s adorably clumsy biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to talk her out of this reckless plan. With Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who are trying to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
