When asked how they got Harrison Ford on board, Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and wanted to audition with people like Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that they would have to at least bring it up to Ford first, as he thought he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought into the project, which would spark interest from other big-name actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him about the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but was excited nonetheless.

His dry delivery is definitely the best

Harrison Ford is just magnificent in this performance! His sassy behavior and sharp tongue are now my life’s go-to when I get to my parent’s house. He’s hysterical and I need more of that in my life!!!

This show is so beautifully written

Also, if you’re a fan of Jason Segel, you won’t be disappointed. It features versatile characters dealing with real issues. It brings all the feels and leaves you wanting more each week.

Can’t wait for season 2!
