It’s mostly well done, the Jackal actor is very good here

In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an older model. Graham Norton reference and more: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). It has a few occasional scenes where I find it unlikely that the Jackal would be easily identified by a security camera, like in ep1 after the sniper shoots him as he leaves the hotel.

Maybe that’s because it’s based on an old book (or TV show?) that didn’t involve that

Also, the second problem, and probably the bigger one, is that the actress playing the detective really can’t deliver and only has one facial expression. At work? Blank stare.
