James Gunn had pitched ‘CREATURE COMMANDOS’ before taking over DC

Scenario

It follows a group of military superheroes consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became the CEO of DC Studios. Series writer and creator James Gunn is seen in the opening titles with a laptop typing a script.

Pretty impressive start to a show

. Featured on AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). WOW I just finished the second episode and I’m blown away by the way the story unfolded.

I honestly can’t wait for the next episodes to be released

The fight scenes are perfectly animated and the setting is close to reality. The jokes take your breath away and the consistency of the characters is pretty amazing. I’m blown away by the start of the DCU and can’t wait for the Superman movie to come out.
